Trekker Skishoes 120cm
Touring skis are like a combination of snowshoes and forest boots. Trekker touring skis make it easy to navigate snowy terrain, brush and slopes. So they're a great choice for varied and challenging snowy environments, with excellent traction and good gliding properties that make moving around comfortably fast. Trekker touring skis are the absolute best value for money on the market and allow you to combine the best aspects of snowshoeing, skiing and hiking.
Touring skis do not require trails, nor do you need separate ski boots, but you can wear regular winter boots with the bindings. The easy-to-use Trekker bindings are sold as a separate product and can be found here.
These 120 cm long Trekker touring skis are suitable for users under 80 kg and also for kids. The weight limit should also take into account the weight of your equipment and clothing. These touring skis are at the shorter end of the range. In wooded and scrubby terrain, shorter skis are easier to use than longer ones. The width of these touring skis is 14 centimetres, which also ensures good traction in deep snow.
The Trekker touring skis have excellent grip thanks to the wide skin grip on the bottom of the ski. Trekker touring skis are supplied with the grip pre-installed. The sole is made of Extruded PE material, which means it is made of overheated polyethylene pellets. This one-piece sole does not absorb lubricant, but can be used with liquid instant lubricant. It is recommended that the replacement of the grip is carried out in ski shops. The grip can be cleaned with a special cleaning agent.
When choosing poles, it is advisable to follow a guide such as the Nordic walking pole sizing chart.
Note! These touring skis do not include bindings.Bindings for Trekker touring skis are available here.
